RASSEMBLÉ!

Rassemblée! Est une installation interactive ludique centrée sur l’émerveillement, l’échange et le rassemblement. Les Pouces sont des créatures nomades de passages ici, sur la route d’un long voyage vers les terres du nord. 

Suivant la tradition orales des compteur d’histoires, les créatures seront en cours de rassemblement autour d’une grande source lumineuse mi-feu mi-soleil. Cette pièce centrale est le point de contact interactif avec les créatures, et permettera au montréalais de communiquer avec elles avec paroles, lumière et musique. La trame narrative de l’installation est complétée par les projections sur les buildings adjacents, qui mettent en scène les créatures et racontent les péripéties qui les ont menées ici. 

Dans un monde en crise humanitaire, où l’immigration est au coeur de nombreux conflits politiques, rassemblée! propose un regard optimiste et empathique, où les différences sont synonymes d’émerveillement et de curiosité, et la table est mise pour une rencontre festive où les Pouces viennent raconter leurs épopée, et partager leur langage et musique avec les Montréalais. 

Rassemblé! Is a playful interactive installation centered on wonder, exchange and gathering. The Inches are nomadic creatures of just passing by, on the road to a long journey to the northern lands.

Following the oral tradition of the storytelling, the creatures will be gathering around a large light source half-fire half-sun. This central piece is the interactive point of contact with the creatures, and will allow the Montrealer to communicate with them with words, light and music. The narrative plot of the installation is completed by projections on adjacent buildings, which features the creatures and tell the adventures that led them here.

In a world in humanitarian crisis, where immigration is at the heart of many political conflicts, Rassemblé! offers an optimistic and empathic look, where the differences are synonymous with wonder and curiosity, and the table is set for a festive meeting where the Inches come to tell their epic stories, and share their language and music with Montrealers.
